Will There Be Netflix Raising Voices Season 2?

There Won’t Be A Second Season

The answer to your question is, there won’t be Raising Voices Season 2. Raising Voices is a limited/miniseries. That means the story is wrapped up in one season. Netflix hasn’t officially said “yes” or “no” to a second season.

The main plot, dealing with the sexual assault, is sort of settled, the teacher was arrested and it was proven that he was sexually assaulting the students. Besides, there is not a second part of the novel either.

Overall, people are loving Raising Voices. It’s been praised for tackling tough topics head-on and for the great acting from the young cast.

There’s a clear desire for more episodes, with many fans expressing their hope for a second season on social media.

What Happened at the end?

At the end of Raising Voices, the truth about the sexual assault accusation finally comes out. Alma, played by Nicole Wallace, was hell-bent on proving that the history teacher is a rapist after her childhood friend Berta took her own life.

It turns out that what happened wasn’t as clear-cut as it seemed at first. There wasn’t enough proof to say for sure what happened between the history teacher and Berta. Alma ended up getting suspended from the school as the school faculty thought Berta was mentally ill and made all this up about the history teacher.

However, the history teacher tried to do it with another teenager but Alma protected her and asked her to run away. She was traumatized so she didn’t come forward. Alma created a banner and placed it on the school entrance gate and told everyone who the rapist was.

Nobody at the start believed her but students started to join her. The principal called the Guardia Civil as he thought Alma is still making stuff up. However, Guardia Civil were already on their way to arrest the history teacher as some other girl from another school came forward after reading the social media posts.

The history teacher got arrested by the Guardia Civil and Nata also broke up with her boyfriend and threatened to report him to the police.

Final Words

I know what you are thinking, there should be some story they can follow for a sequel. However, there is not. There is no sequel book for the adaption either. If you loved Nicole Wallace as Alma, you can watch My Fault on Amazon Prime.
