I know it’s been forever since we’ve had new episodes. Season 4 ended back in 2021, and it’s been radio silence from Studio Pierrot. But with the movie, Netflix picking up the series, and the manga still ongoing…I refuse to believe it’s over! So let’s analyze the situation and get hyped for what might come next.
Why the Long Break?
The main issue is pretty simple: the anime caught up to the manga! Remember how Season 4 kind of ended abruptly? That’s because there wasn’t enough story left to adapt. But guess what? The manga’s been going strong ever since! That means plenty of potential material for new episodes.
Clues that Point to Black Clover Season 5
Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King” shows the franchise isn’t dead. It kept our heroes fresh in our minds. Black Clover Seasons were dropped on Netflix. This is huge! More fans mean more demand, which is exactly what we need to push for a new season.
Even though the manga’s final arc is taking its sweet time, more chapters mean more material to animate. Maybe the anime’s waiting for a stronger point to return?
Sadly, no official word from Studio Pierrot on renewal. Rumors about the 2024 release exist, but nothing’s confirmed. This is super frustrating, especially since new fans are just discovering Black Clover on Netflix! At least we have tons of manga chapters to keep us busy while we wait.
What Could Black Clover Season 5 Be About?
