Whenever I open Amazon Prime, Maxton Hall shows up on the top. So, one day after completing the Invisible Season 2, I was exploring new shows and eventually decided to give Maxton Hall a try since I am into teen dramas like Elite and Euphoria. Turns out this German series is all about Ruby and James’ rollercoaster romance.
The show ended on a cliffhanger so I decided to find out about Season 2 and I found out it is renewed but when will it release on Amazon Prime?
Release Date
Amazon Prime has renewed the show for a second season. However, they haven’t announced the release date yet. Season 1 was released last month so from that I can confirm Maxton Hall Season 2 won’t release in 2024. Most likely, the second one will be released late next year.

What’s Next for Ruby and James?
Season 1 left us with a huge cliffhanger. James was devasted when he learned about his mother’s death and he attacked his father. He then goes to Ruby’s house but decides not to see her.
Season 2 is expected to follow the storyline of the second book in the series, “Save You.” We will find out if Ruby and James get admission in Oxford. How is James’ mother’s death going to affect their relationship?
Lydia’s pregnancy and her complicated relationship with Mr. Sutton is also going to be the focus of the next season.
Final Words
Maxton Hall has been a massive hit for Amazon Prime Video. It became the most-watched international show in its first week. Season 1 followed the first novel called “Save Me” so it is pretty obvious the second one is going to follow “Save You.” If you can’t wait that long for the second season, you can simply order the book and read it.
