[Speculations] Who Is Going To Die in The Boys Season 4?

The Boys Season 4 is just around the corner. The upcoming season is slated to release on 13th July 2024. The first 3 episodes will be released on the same day but afterwards, there will be weekly airing. Now that soldier boy is no longer part of the story.

There is nobody who can take on Homelander. So, just for the recap, Billy made an alliance with the Soldier Boy to take down Homelander in return he would help him find his ex-teammates so he can kill them because they betrayed him.

When the actual battle began, Ryan was there too and Billy hesitated because Soldier Boy wanted to kill Ryan.

Instead of trying to kill Homelander, Billy started to fight Soldier Boy as he promised his wife that he would protect Ryan at all costs. The Boys took down Soldier Boy by making him inhale a deadly neurotoxin that put him to sleep. He is not dead though.

Let’s get back to the topic of the article. The promotional material for Season 4 is giving fans serious anxiety about the fate of one character in particular: Frenchie.

Frenchie is the heart and soul of The Boys because of his accent and stupidity. However, he is absent from most of the season 4 trailers and posters. Some fans even noticed that in one poster he is barely visible behind a new character. But in the recent trailer, he got enough screen time to bury these speculations.

Why Frenchie’s Death Would Matter

Frenchie isn’t just comic relief, he’s the emotional core of the team, and his death would push characters like Butcher and Kimiko into a whole new level of grief and fury.

Butcher, even though he shows he doesn’t care much about the team, in his twisted way he actually cares about Frenchie. So it is going to take a toll on him as he is also going to die due to the sickness he got because of taking Temp V.

Kimiko is already his girlfriend and she is a supe, she lost her powers because of Soldier Boy but then she took Compound V again and regained her powers.

Will Butcher Die in Season 4?

Another character whose fate is up in the air is Billy Butcher. He took Temp V many times in Season 3 to take down Homelander and help Soldier Boy in his revenge.

He knew there were risks to taking this serum but he injected it anyway.

However, The Boys Season 5 is renewed along with Gen V Season 2. So it’s highly unlikely the creators are going to kill the main character of the show.

There’s a theory that he might take permanent Compound V to save himself, but that could turn him into the very thing he despises.

It happened in the comics so there is a high chance that he will take the Compound V.

Victoria Neuman Needs To Go

In the last scene of The Boys Season 3, Billy says that bitch needs to go, he meant Victoria Neuman, who is inching closer to the White House and is a Supe.

She actually fooled everyone. The Boys thought she was on their side but actually she had other goals.
