The Reason Behind Gun Park’s Loyalty Toward Charles Choi
When Shintaro found out the truth about him being the eldest and the supposed leader, he started a rebellion, he killed his parents and went straight for Shingen Yamazaki to take the leader title from him.
Shingen died protecting Gun Park and Shintaro started hunting him down, Park Somi, the mother of Gun Park, provided a way for Gun to run away to South Korea, where he met Gapryong Kim, the rival of Shingen Yamazaki and the enemy of Yamazaki Clan.
He helped Gun Park and learned about the death of Shingen Yamazaki. He then suggests Gun go to a place where there is no honor and the Yamazaki clan cannot reach them since they have connections everywhere.
Gapryong Kim was talking about juvenile prison. After being sent to juvenile prison by Gapryong Kim for protection, Gun quickly became the strongest inmate there, defeating everyone who challenged him. Charles Choi, working as a janitor in the prison, noticed Gun’s potential.
Charles offered Gun a deal: follow his ambitious plan, and he’d give him everything. Gun realized that Charles was an ex-elite who used to work for Gapryong Kim.
Gun wanted to test Charles’ commitment and asked him about his children. When Charles revealed he had a daughter, Gun pushed further, telling him to kill her.
Without hesitation, Charles agreed. Gun Park was impressed by his determination. Charles Choi reminded Gun Park of Shingen Yamazaki.
