What Happened in The Mafia Nanny Chapter 52
In Chapter 47, Gabriel Angelini gets a call from his mother, who is feeling worried. She mentions that Valentine left suddenly without explaining anything.
She also asks Gabriel to bring Mikey over because she misses him. He promises to visit with Mikey in two weeks.
The Mafia Nanny Chapter 52 starts with Gabriel and Mikey heading to Italy. During the trip, Mikey falls asleep, giving Davina a brief moment of relief. She reflects on how tough the week has been for all of them.
However, Gabriel quickly reminds her that things aren’t over yet. He knows his mother will be angry at him once they arrive, given everything that has been happening.
When they arrive at the house, Gabriel tries to give Davina a heads-up about what to expect, but before he can say much, his mother appears. She greets Mikey and suggests he go play in the garden while she welcomes everyone else.
When she meets Davina, it’s clear she’s not impressed. Despite hearing great things from Valentine, Gabriel’s mother feels let down.
She bluntly says Davina doesn’t stand out and looks just like any other person in Gabriel’s crew, not someone extraordinary.
Davina heads off to check on Mikey while Gabriel and his mother talk in private. She brings up her concerns about Mikey’s living situation, saying he needs a proper house where he can play freely.
Gabriel, however, explains the reality of their situation. With all the recent chaos his house being burnt down and the hotel blast caused by his own family member, he can not risk moving into a home yet. For now, staying in a hotel is the safest option until things settle down.
Gabriel’s mother confronts him, saying she knows he’s up to something, and this isn’t the life she envisioned for him.
She’s clearly disappointed, but Gabriel remains silent, knowing full well she will never forgive him for choosing this path. After the capture and likely murder of Gabriel’s wife, everything changed for him.
The chapter ends on a cliffhanger with Gabriel’s mother heading towards Mikey so she can spend some quality time with him.
