Lookism Chapter 534 is finally out, and the hunt for the Busan crew leaders is over. We finally got to see who the leaders of the four crews are, and Daniel’s plan worked out perfectly.
In Lookism Chapter 533, Choi Bongpal shows up, saying her drug business isn’t connected to the four crews of Busan.
When Daniel and the Allied Gang reveal they’re planning to take down the crews, Choi offers to help, but Daniel doesn’t trust her. She admits she’s only working with the crews, not part of them, and reveals she wants to take over if Daniel weakens them.
Vasco uses a lie detector on Choi, and she shares some intel but keeps the real drug stash hidden. Daniel splits the gang to target the crews.
Zack and Hudson go undercover at a Roombar, Vasco and Vin Jin head to the gambling dens, Eli Jang is sent to handle the smuggling area, and Daniel teams up with Jay in an underground fight arena.
The Leaders of Busan’s Four Crews Are Finally Revealed
Zack and Hudson’s Mission at the Roombar
The chapter kicks off in Area #1, where Zack and Hudson are on a mission to find the crew leader at the Roombar. Hudson becomes super popular there, surrounded by 10 hostesses, while Zack is stuck doing jobs as a waiter and janitor. Zack confronts Hudson about why he is getting all the attention.
Hudson explains his plan to start “Ansan Karaoke.” Zack, shocked, thinks Jay must have lent him money, but Hudson reveals that Ansan Public is a big name in drinking spots.
Hudson’s plan is to take down the Roombars by making more money than them. He brought the prettiest hostesses with him and introduced a coupon system:
if customers spend a certain amount or bring new ones, they earn stamps. Collect enough stamps, and they get a token to pick an “ace” hostess. Normally, picking an ace requires an auction, so customers need loads of tokens.
The idea is not just to keep the rival Roombars in check by taking their top hostesses. Hudson’s real goal is to make the Ansan Karaoke branch in Busan so popular that it steals all the customers. When the Roombars start losing business, the crew leaders will have no choice but to show up.
The plan worked and the crew leaders of Area#1 showed up:
- Shin Arim (Crew Leader).
- Min Jihoon (Crew Leader).
As explained by Choi Bongpal, there is a crew in Busan that has two leaders. Zack and Hudson encountered them.
Vin Jin and Vasco’s Gamble Pays Off
Vin Jin and Vasco went to the gambling den, but they kept losing because they didn’t know how to play the games. They didn’t seem too worried, though, since they trusted Daniel Park and had plenty of Jay’s money to spend.
Turns out, losing was part of Daniel’s plan. He told them to use the martingale strategy, where you triple your bet every time you lose. It is usually banned in casinos, but in this gambling den, there’s no rule against it.
Most people don’t have endless money to keep betting, but Vin Jin and Vasco do, thanks to Jay lending them as much cash as they need.
Eventually, their constant betting and winning forced the crew leader to show up because the house couldn’t afford to keep losing so much money.
The plan worked, and the leader of Area #2 is revealed to be Park Hyukjin. Now, it’s time for Vasco and Vin Jin to face him.
Daniel Shocks Everyone at the Fighting Arena
Next, we head to the fighting arena, Area #4, where Jay and Daniel went. There’s a beast of a fighter known as “Busan’s Thug,” real name Kang Hun Seok.
Daniel steps up to challenge him, and everyone’s shocked. He looks like a well-dressed kid, not someone who’d fight in a ring. While the crowd bets on Kang Hun Seok, Jay decides to bet too. He puts 1 billion won and cars as collateral.
To everyone’s surprise, Daniel knocks out Kang Hun Seok with just one punch. But he is not done. Daniel takes all the winnings from the fight and puts them on the line again to challenge the champion, who turns out to be Kang Jinchan, the leader of the fourth Busan crew.
Eli Jang’s Rage at the Smuggling Den

Next, we see Eli Jang wiping out everyone in Area #3. He’s already pissed because this area is a smuggling den where they traffic humans, and even kill young girls to hide evidence.
After taking down the crew members, Eli heads straight to rescue the girls. But then, the third crew leader of Busan, Hyun Sangjin, shows up.

We also get a glimpse of all the fights lined up:

James Lee and Kitae Kim’s Calm Before the Storm
Next, we see James Lee and Kitae Kim chilling in a restaurant. Kitae’s casually eating a burger while they talk about how smoothly everything is going. Then, Jingrang’s second-in-command shows up, waiting for James Lee to arrive. The chapter ends with this guy, Jingrang’s right-hand man, flashing his sharp silver teeth.
Lookism Chapter 534 Review
This chapter was a solid build-up for the big fights with the crew leaders. Most of us wanted to see James Lee vs Jingrang, not James Lee vs the second-in-command.
It’s looking like the story might shift toward Kitae Kim vs Jingrang while James Lee takes on the second-in-command, which isn’t exactly what we were hyped for.
