What Happened in Lookism Chapter 525?
The latest chapter started with Shintaro flexing his Reverse Eyes and claiming how he always had them since birth but he didn’t tell anyone for the sake of Shingen.
Flashback
We get a flashback of their childhood, showing how Shintaro dedicated himself to supporting Shingen, even though he was technically the true heir.
Fast forward, and now the two brothers are going head-to-head. Shintaro feels deeply betrayed, having spent his life in Shingen’s shadow, only to learn he was the eldest son and was supposed to be the leader all along.
Shintaro Overpowered Shingen
Despite being wounded by Park Somi’s earlier betrayal, Shingen manages to hold his ground. He knows Shintaro’s anger is justified but can not accept that things have come to this, Shintaro killed their mother and father.
Shingen’s fury peaks when he learns Shintaro plans to kill Gun Park, his son, to secure his leadership. Shingen told Gun Park that he knew about him all along, he just hated the fact that he resembled him so much. He asks Gun if he ever wanted anything from him, now is the time to ask for it, and Gun asks for a name.
Shingen was about to name him, Shintaro removed the sword from Shingen’s stomach and sliced his hand off clean.
He uses the Yodo Muramasa sword, which can even slice through black bone. But Shingen, even in this weakened state, refuses to let Shintaro harm Gun.
Shingen’s UI Explained
We get a quick scene with Gapryong Kim discussing Shingen’s Ultra Instinct (UI), which is unique because, unlike others, it suppresses his violent side rather than enhancing his strength.
This reveals the true power of Shingen. he is only dangerous when he decides not to use his reverse eyes, transforming into the True Tora Oni.
The chapter closes on a dramatic note, Shingen asks Shintaro to run, since he is going to reveal his true strength and wants to give Shintaro a chance.

Most likely the fight will be concluded in the upcoming chapter. Lookism Chapter 526 will be all about Shingen’s what Shingen is capable of in his true UI state.
It also proves that Gun Park also possesses similar eyes and that is how he was able to fight against Daniel Park UI even without being in his own UI state.
