What Happened in Lookism Chapter 520?

In Lookism 520, we got to see more about Gun Park’s difficult past and why he became the person he is today.

Shingen Yamazaki is the father of Gun Park. He was the leader of the Yamazaki Clan but he lost a major fight against the Fist Gang.

This defeat left him feeling hopeless. To create a new warrior who could bring back the clan’s power, the vice president arranged women from Yakuza families for Shingen Yamazaki, so he could create the ultimate warrior.

Park Somi gave birth to the strongest child with the odd eyes (ultra instinct) and the child was named Gun Park. Even as a young child, Gun showed amazing talent.

But his mother was very strict and didn’t want him to act like a regular kid. Instead, she wanted him to be strong and act like a leader. Because of this, Gun grew up believing that to be loved, he had to fight and be the best.

Fast forward to Gun Park’s high school era, Gun started taking down different gangs and recruiting members to his side. He was powerful, but he began to wonder why fighting was the only thing he knew.

He felt torn about his role and didn’t really want to be the clan’s next leader. The only person who brought out his softer side was Yamazaki Haruto, whom he respected and never wanted to fight.

When Gun decided he didn’t want to lead the clan, the vice president got really angry. He even ordered Gun to kill Haruto, who had broken the clan’s rules and influenced Gun’s decision.

The vice president is determined to get revenge on the Fist Gang and restore their honor, no matter what.

Lookism Chapter 521 Release Date - Is Gun Park Related to Daniel Park?

At the end of the chapter, Gun Park decides not to take over as the leader of the Yamazaki Clan. He was supposed to earn the right to change his name and become the next leader but he chose a different path for now, we will find out more in the upcoming chapter.

There is no solid proof that Gun Park and Daniel Park are related but most likely we will find out in the upcoming chapter.

The flashback started after the conversation between Gun Park and Daniel Park so most likely PTJ is giving us a hint that they are related.

Some fans believe that Daniel could be the son of Gun’s aunt, making them family. But for now, these are just theories, and we’ll have to wait.

Final Words

Many fans were curious about Gun Park’s past and how the Yamazaki Clan turned him into a monster. Both Gun and Daniel have the ability to tap into UI mode.

PTJ didn’t mention anything about UI being exclusive to the Yamazaki clan yet but if it is, then that means they are most likely related.
