Lookism 530 is by far one of the best chapters of Lookism. It concluded the Shiro Oni arc perfectly.
Gun Park stayed loyal to Charles Choi until the very end. The scene finally shifts back to Daniel Park.
Gun Park goes back to his cell and the King of Busan, Jinrang is released from prison.
A lot of fans complained that this arc was rushed so PTJ surprised the whole fandom with two chapters today. Let’s start with a small recap then we will discuss the Lookism 530 spoilers.
Lookism 529 Recap
In Lookism 529, The fight continues between Gun Park and Shintaro Yamazaki. Gun Park is initially underestimating Shintaro, but when Shintaro proves to be stronger than expected, Gun gets overwhelmed by his uncle’s attacks.
However, things take a turn when Gun’s mother, Park Somi, sacrifices herself to save Gun from Shintaro’s sword.
This loss triggers Gun Park’s awakening of his true Ultra Instinct. He dominates Shintaro, and the Yamazaki Clan realizes that Gun is now even stronger than their ex-leader, Shingen Yamazaki. The clan members name him the Shiro Oni, the White Ghost.
What Happened in Lookism 530?
Lookism 530 starts with Shintaro realizing that Gun Park has become much stronger. Turns out Shintaro has given up, he is no longer fighting.
It was his plan all along. He wanted to die at the hands of Gun Park since he is the true blood of Yamazaki.
He killed his own son for the rules, he killed the leader of three big families as they broke the rules.
But turns out his parents also broke the rules, he was actually the supposed leader of the Yamazaki Clan.
So, he killed them too. He killed his own twin brother to take the leadership from him. But now he wants to be free without breaking any rules.
Shintaro Wanted To Die
He wants to die, but it should be Gun Park who kills him so that the leadership will be transferred to him.
Gun delivers a devastating punch to Shintaro’s gut. Shintaro realizes that Gun is conscious again. He explains to Gun Park what happened.
You entered the same state Shingen did. You became just like him.
He then tells Gun to take over as the next leader but warns him not to become like him. In a shocking move, Shintaro pushes Gun’s arms deeper into his own gut, leaving a hole. He apologizes to Gun.
Gun Park, however, stands firm. He tells Shintaro that he’s not the same as him and doesn’t regret his own choices.
Gun Park – The New Leader of the Yamazaki Clan
Gun Park becomes the leader of the Yamazaki Clan of Japan. He asks the eldest sons of the guardian family to be the proxies while he is away.
They explain, the Vassal families won’t let your absence slide, and Gun Park says:
If they don’t follow us, we will just show them how Gen 0 Yamazaki Clan unified the whole nation.
The scene shifts to Daniel Park and Gun Park. Gun Park goes back to his cell after saying “Don’t Regret what you did” to Daniel Park.
Daniel Park is still confused about why Gun Park sided with Charles Choi even after his death.
Who is Jinrang, King of Busan?
Another character appears who has just been released from Prison, his aura even scared Daniel Park. Turns out it is Jinrang, king of Busan and the disciple of Gapryong Kim.
Not much has been revealed about Jinrang other than that he is the king of 2nd most important city and everyone follows him.
His Aura is intimidating as hell
The scene shifts to Jaegyeon Na, the king of Incheon who is talking with someone over the phone and telling them that the king of Busan is out of prison.
The chapter ends on a cliffhanger, Daniel is shocked to see the man everyone follows.
Final Words
It looks like a new war might be brewing. The timing of Gitae Kim’s return to South Korea alongside the release of the King of Busan from prison doesn’t seem like a coincidence. Both events happening together suggest that big things are about to go down.
