Lookism 528 Recap
The story continues with Gun Park meeting Goo Kim for the first time. This isn’t a casual meeting Charles Choi sends Gun to test Goo’s abilities.
Gun approaches Goo with a deal, knowing Goo loves money, but Goo is skeptical. Since Gun isn’t from South Korea, Goo assumes he doesn’t have much to offer. The conversation quickly escalates into a fight.
At first, Goo dominates the fight because Gun underestimates him. However, things change when Gun gets serious, throwing Goo into a pillar along with a bicycle.
Goo pretends to surrender but then grabs the bike chain and catches Gun off guard. Using the chain, Goo manages to land several cuts on Gun, nearly knocking him out.
James Lee steps in to stop them, reminding Gun that his mission was to test Goo, not to kill him.
After the fight, Goo meets Charles Choi, who explains his ambitious plans. Goo agrees to join him but sets three conditions: he wants to contract money upfront, be treated as an equal, and receive an equal share of profits. Charles agrees to these terms, sealing their partnership.
Meanwhile, Charles reveals to Gun the story behind the Red Paper and its connection to the Yamazaki clan. Gun, unfazed, announces his intention to head to Japan.
The chapter wraps up with Gun arriving at the Yamazaki temple, defeating its guards, and confronting Shintaro Yamazaki.
Shintaro declares, “I was waiting for you,” and Gun Park replies that he’s not there for revenge just on a whim.
