Lookism 527 is here and the chapter reveals how Gun Park met Charles Choi. We already knew that he met Charles in the juvenile prison but this chapter revealed why he was in that prison and why he decided to join Charles Choi.

Lookism 526 Recap

Shingen’s story comes to an end. We see him deactivate his Ultra Instinct to unleash his full strength and become the true Tora Oni, scaring the rebels around him.

Shingen fights with everything he has got, even with one arm and injuries from his earlier battle with his brother, Shintaro.

Despite Shintaro’s attempt to kill him, Shingen manages to break Shintaro’s elbow and fight back.

In a desperate final move, Shingen throws Gun to safety as the rebels overwhelm him, sacrificing himself.

After his death, Gun learns from clan members sent by Park Somi that he must flee Japan to avoid execution.

Smuggled out, he arrives in Korea, where he’s found by Gapryong Kim, who is his father’s rival.

What Happened in Lookism 527?

Gapryong Kim was shocked to see someone with Reverse Eyes, he quickly figured out that he was the son of Shingen Yamazaki.

He took Gun Park in and offered him food. He explained how he found him, he was there to meet with his disciple and heard about someone with Reverse Eyes, he thought the Yamazaki clan was here to fight.

Gun Park is having a conversation with himself as well while talking with Gapryong Kim. I mean he is eating with the person who he thought was the enemy.

Gun Park could not believe that this was the same guy who defeated Shingen Yamazaki and made him lethargic.

Gun asks Gapryong why is he helping him, he replies he does not want to complicate things, then Gapryong asks him why is he here. Gun reveals that Shingen Yamazaki is dead and there was a power struggle, it was Shintaro who killed him.

Gapryong then tells Gun Park that Yamazaki has influence in Korea too so he is not safe. He suggests Gun to become strong in a place where there is no honor and they can’t reach you.

Gun Park is sent to Juvenile Prison for protection

He was talking about juvenile prison. He started to beat other inmates in the prison and became the king of the place. There he met Charles Choi who was working as a janitor there.

Later he gathered all the inmates, around 200 of them, and asked them to come at him, if someone is able to defeat him, they can take his place.

Charles Choi’s Vision

However, Gun Park won against all 200. Charles Choi then offered Gun Park a deal, he asked him to follow his plan and he would give him anything.

I have a plan to take over the world!

Gun Park realized Charles Choi is an elite. Gun Park asks him how can he give him something if he is stuck in a place like this. Charles says he is going to rise again!

He then reveals that he sees Shingen Yamazaki in Charles Choi. This confirms why Gun Park has been so loyal to Charles Choi.

Gun Park asks about children, and Choi reveals that he has a daughter, Gun asks him to kill her as she is a sign of weakness.

Charles Choi was ready to kill his daughter. However, Gun was just testing him. He then threatens him that if he disappoints him, he will kill them both. They then discuss the plan of Choi’s.

The world will see the age of crews!

After getting released from prison, Charles assigns him the task, and Gun Park meets with Goo Kim to test him.

Lookism 527 Review

The chapter revealed how Gun Park met Gapryong Kim and Charles Choi. Gun’s intense training in prison and Choi’s ambitious plans shape his loyalty and drive.

The story sets up Gun’s path to becoming the leader in the age of crews. The chapter was solid and it hyped up the first battle of Goo Kim and Gun Park.
