Kitae Kim is back and is teaming up with Goo Kim. After Charles Choi, is he going to be the big bad of Lookism in this new arc?
Gun Park is in jail, arrested for forming four crews. He accepted full responsibility, remaining silent about Goo Kim and Charles Choi.
However, Charles Choi ultimately took his own life after Daniel Park exposed the red paper.
Despite this, many theories persist that Charles Choi isn’t truly dead. Some believe he possesses a second body and will return, especially since his wealth wasn’t inherited by Gun Park or his daughters.

Recap
The previous chapter focused on the aftermath of Charles Choi’s death, a decision that shocked everyone. Even at his funeral, only three people attended: his daughter, Daniel Park, and Tom Lee.
Everyone was shocked that even fighting with Gun Park, Daniel Park survived, perks of having a strong second body it seems.
On the other hand, Johan decided to leave this line of work and focus on his studies. Meanwhile, everyone else was happy as the whole hunt for Gun Park arc was finally over.
Samuel took Goo Kim to the airport so that he could meet with Kitae Kim who finally decided to show up again in Seoul. However, we still don’t know what they are planning.
What Happened in Lookism 518?
Lookism 518 starts with Jake Kim telling Daniel Park that he saw the news of Charles Choi’s demise on TV.
He’s shocked by the news. Daniel suggests it might be a fitting end for Charles Choi, a statement that surprises Jake.
Charles Choi was the kind of person who would rather destroy everything, even himself than let anyone else take control.
Daniel and Jake Kim meet with Bongae Choi, who congratulates them on their success. Jake then announces that Big Deal’s wanted status has been lifted, and he’s returning to his rightful place.
Eugene then visits Mandeok in the hospital who is slowly recovering, he was badly injured during his fight with Gun Park but he played a major role in bringing down Gun Park. In the end, Gun Park was too strong.
Mandeok mentions hearing about Charles Choi’s death. He reveals that exposing Charles Choi was part of his plan, and Eugene had another goal. He is looking for Worker’s weakness.
Justin Peng found the stash that has the weakness of Workers. However, as soon as he was going to steal it police arrived.
Turns out the stash is actually the evidence of Gapryong Kim’s death, and Justin Peng just became the prime suspect.
Eugene planned it and now James Lee is no longer a suspect in the Gapryong Kim’s murder. James Lee then hands over the worker’s weakness which he found in Gun Park’s place. James Lee tell Eugene he is planning to retire now that Charles Choi is dead.
Meanwhile, Tom Lee flirts with Reporter Kim, claiming that meeting her has changed his perspective on life.
Tom Lee is surprised to learn that Reporter Kim is meeting with the bald Jerry Kwon. He questions his own appearance, prompting an angry retort from Tom Lee, who asserts his superior looks.
Tom Lee wonders why Reporter Kim associates with bald men and jokingly considers shaving his own head. She then explains her reason for meeting Jerry. She knew Jerry’s dad and she had the tape that had all the recordings of his father’s battles.
Report Kim visits Jinyeong Park to tell him about Charles Choi’s death. However, he says he does not believe that. Likely Jinyeong knows about Charles Choi’s second body.
Eugene then finds out that Reporter Kim’s real target was never Charles Choi, she is actually investigating the death of Gapryong Kim.
Eugene is now looking for something to hold James Lee accountable, so that he can control him again.
Meanwhile, Kitae Kim is looking for his brother and goes into the big deal’s territory, he defeats two members but Sin arrives at the scene and grabs Kitae Kim.
The chapter concludes with a cliffhanger. Despite leaving Big Deal long ago, Sin appears to still be guarding the streets. Jake remains unaware of his brother’s return.
Final Words
The upcoming chapter will most likely follow the fight between Sin and Kitae Kim. However, we know Sin won’t be able to defeat Kitae and his defeat will enrage Jake. However, I was not expecting Kitae will take action this soon.
Sin’s defeat will most likely be for the character development of Jake Kim. Jake is not strong enough to take on Kitae Kim right now.
