Lookism 517 Release Date and Recap – Charles Choi Second Body Theory

The recent chapter revealed the truth behind the red paper and concluded the Gunism Arc. James Lee didn’t fight Gun Park, instead, he let the police arrest him.

Eugene asked James Lee not to kill Charles Choi as they wanted him to suffer for everything he had done the right way and through a proper trial.

However, the most unexpected thing happened, Charles Choi ended up jumping off a rooftop and died.

If you are looking for the winner of the whole fight, it’s James Lee, the guy didn’t even bother fighting and won! In this article, I am going to discuss Lookism 517 Release Date and the recap of the previous chapter.

When Will Lookism 517 Release?

Lookism 517 chapter will be released on 30th August 2024. However, in Korea, it will be released on the 29th of August. The exact release schedule is attached below:

What Happened in Lookism 516?

The chapter started from where Lookism 515 left off, with James Lee facing Gun Park. Gun Park is still standing and ready to fight James Lee. James Lee told Gun Park it is over but Gun Park became really cocky.

However, James Lee is not the type of person who would fight if there is another option, and this time there was.

Eugene came with the police force and the police arrested Gun Park and James Lee fled the scene. Charles Choi also ran away.

Eugene revealed the evidence that Charles Choi was using minors to mine for his business. Charles Choi denies the accusations.

To protect Charles Choi, Gun Park took the blame he created the four major crews by himself. I still have no idea why Gun Park is so protective of Charles Choi, I know he is one of the Ten Gs but he is way too overprotective.

However, more evidence is revealed, including footage of Charles Choi kidnapping someone. But the victim declined about ever getting kidnapped.

As soon as we all thought Charles Choi is now a free man, another piece of evidence showed up and this time it was none other than the red paper he was trying to protect.

Daniel Park reveals the red paper secret, it is the paper that has the signature of Charles Choi promising loyalty to the Yamazaki Clan. The red paper was a loyalty oath.

Charles Choi realized if the red paper is revealed in front of the public, his entire reputation would be at stake and all of his evil deeds will be exposed. Daniel Park exposed the red paper!

He then jumped from the rooftop of the building where he was standing and died. Daniel Park was shocked, as he wanted to find out the secret behind the second body that Charles Choi promised.

Daniel Park’s Second Body and Charles Choi’s Second Body Theory

A lot of fans used to speculate that James Lee is the second body of Charles Choi. However, it was debunked in recent chapters, that James Lee actually wanted to kill Charles Choi and is working with Eugene.

So does Charles Choi really have a second body? There are other villains/elite in the series as well but the entire focus of the series has been on Charles Choi. So, I don’t think he is going to die that easily.

There are a lot of new theories circulating around that Daniel Park’s second body is going to be Charles Choi’s second body.

This theory is plausible, as he always wanted Daniel Park to surpass James Lee. I mean he gave one job to Daniel Park, to become stronger than James Lee.

He also revealed in the recent chapters that he wanted someone to control James Lee and he was about to tell the secret of the second body to Daniel Park but he got interrupted by James Lee.

So this theory could be true, he wanted Daniel Park’s body to become stronger so that he can use it to defeat James Lee later.

However, this is just a theory, but I am quite sure that Charles Choi has a second body. Villains like Charles don’t die that easily.

Even though James Lee helped Eugene this time around, Eugene had the upper hand on James Lee because of his weakness.

Now that James Lee also has the weakness of Euegene, we may see them going against each other in the upcoming chapters.

Final Words

PTJ also confirmed that we will be seeing Gun Park’s true form (true UI power) after a certain death. I guess the time has come, as the death that was teased was of Charles Choi.

However, for now, the plot armor of Gun Park has worn off. We will find out about Charles Choi second body on 29th August.
