To do this, you need to have Precision Phase Exchangers or normal Phase Exchangers. You will earn this by doing missions but that is just luck. To get this item fast you can simply follow the steps below:

  • Talk to Anais in Albion.
  • Check the Enhancement Materials section in the Research Requests menu.
  • Craft Precision Phase Exchangers or Phase Exchangers depending on the weapon you are upgrading.

Phase Exchanger costs 50 High-Precision Exchange Components while Precision Phase Exchanger costs 250 liquid metals. Liquid Metal can be obtained by dismantling weapons in your inventory. Higher-tier weapons give more Liquid Metal.

Now that you have enough materials to upgrade, let’s upgrade your weapon.

  • Go to Albion.
  • Look for the workbench.
  • Use the Weapon Level Transmission option (It lets you “infuse” the level of a higher-level weapon into a lower-level one).
  • Select the weapon you want to upgrade and the weapon you want to infuse it with.
  • It will use the transmission material: Precision Phase Exchanger.
  • Click the Weapon Transmission Button on the bottom left.
  • Your weapon has been upgraded and leveled up!

You can also use Weapon Readjustment to change the stats of your weapon and enhance the unique ability of the weapon using the workbench in Albion. However, I haven’t tried those features I only tried Weapon Level Transmission.

And that is all you need to do to level up your weapons in The First Descendant. While you are at it check out my other guides on this game as well:
