Kaiju No 8 Episode 12 will be released on 29th June 2024. You can catch it on Crunchyroll, starting at 10 AM EST. But remember, the exact time will vary depending on your location. I have mentioned all the time zones and exact release time according to that below:

This is going to be the last episode of Season 1. Kaiju No 8 Season 2 is also being developed according to the rumors but there is no official word yet.
In Episode 10, we saw Kafka saving the whole third division from the air bomb that Kaiju No 10 launched. Kafka had no other choice but to become the Kaiju and reveal himself. He was then arrested by Mina.
What Happened in Episode 11?
In Kaiju No 8 Episode 11, we saw Kafka being detained in the facility and then he was shifted to the Ariake Maritime Base. During his transportation, Ichikawa says he will be waiting for him.
Mina and Vice-Captain Hoshino didn’t say a word to him while they were uncuffing him and preparing him for the transportation.
However, as soon as they sit in the vehicle, Mina says there are no cameras here so she can speak freely.
She then tells Kafka nobody from the Third Division thinks of him as an enemy. Even Hoshino orders the whole squad to salute Kafka but then he claims he saluted for Mina.
Kafka is then held in an underground facility at Ariake Maritime Base. Kikoru tries to convince Director Isao to not eliminate Kafka. However, Isao says it was Kaiju No 2 that murdered her mother and he has no sympathy for the Kaijus.
Director Isao then personally meets with Kafka and decides to eliminate him. He takes over the Kaiju No 2 suit and starts attacking Kafka.
At first, Kafka tries to stay human but Isao attacks him with the full intent to kill him. Kaiju inside Kafka considers Isao a kaiju level threat so it takes over and goes out of control. The episode ended with Kafka going out of control.
What To Expect From Episode 12?
The real fight will start now. We are going to see the full strength of Kaiju No 8 against Direct Isao. However, since Kafka still has control over his body he will become human again by punching himself.
Director Isao decides to keep Kafka alive and turn him into a weapon against the other Kaijus. Isao knows how strong Kafka is now so there is no point in killing him. Other higher-ups disagree with this decision but they have to obey the order of Isao.
Final Words
Kaiju No 8 is currently my favorite anime and I think it is the best anime of 2024 so far. I really hope that they come up with season 2 ASAP. Do you think Kaiju No 9 will reappear in the upcoming episode or will this episode be about Kafka vs Isao only?
