The previous chapter’s title was “Deadlock“. Chihiro reveals that Hirohiko was not there when his father was murdered. The other guys who are with him are a bunch of hired low-level sorcerers.

However, Hirohiko managed to kill the elite bodyguards easily which means he is a beast and a strong opponent even for Chihiro.

Hirohiko’s sorcery power is origami-based and called Blood Crane. Chihiro uses his Enten ability to fight back.

Chihiro signals Hakuri “Centipede”. Hakuri then ducks along with Yoji while Chihiro sends a wave of slashes to kill everyone around him.

Yoji realizes he is only slowing Chihiro down by being there, so he signals Chihiro to not worry about him, he can handle the low-level sorcerers.

Chihiro also figured out that fighting him while protecting Yoji is going to be hard for him so Chihiro grabs Hirohiko and jumps out of the train.

The goal is to wait for Hakuri’s storehouse power to recover so he can transport the enchanted blades.

If Hakuri is in contact with two sword bearers and his powers recover, those two enchanted blades will break the deadlock.

Yura, another member of the Hishaku group also arrived at the scene. Now that Chihiro does not have to worry about Yoji he can use Enten at its full potential, the chapter ends with Hirohiko saying “He is going to kill Chihiro”, and Chihiro claims the deadlock is about to be broken.
