Recap

JJK 268 opens with Sukuna desperately trying to convince Megumi to give up. He taunts Megumi, reminding him of his sister’s death, but Megumi stays strong, determined that Yuji will defeat Sukuna. While Megumi gave up on himself, he decided to live for others.

He helped Yuji in his battle against Sukuna. On the other hand, Nobara returned too and she used her resonance ability on Sukuna’s last finger.

Yuji separated Megumi from Sukuna with a strong black flash attack. Sukuna is left without a host and fades away, likely implying his death.

The trio of Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara are reunited. They find letters left by Gojo for Megumi and Nobara. Megumi’s letter reveals the truth about his father while Nobara’s letter reveals the location of her mother.

The chapter closes with the trio along with Maki, Panda, and Kusakabe focusing on Yuta, who is trapped in Gojo’s body.

What Happened in JJK 269 Spoilers?

Yuta is back

JJK 269 spoilers starts with Mei Mei buying something from a candy store. Yuta is alive and has gained consciousness again.

Maki is yelling at him, She says “Just because you’re back in your original body doesn’t mean it’s all happy endings!!”.

Yuta has no idea what is happening as everything is hazy for him. Everyone is shocked to see Megumi as well.

Megumi wants to apologize to everyone but Maki cuts his statement short and says he does not need to apologize for anything.

Kusakabe blames Gojo for everything that has happened so far since he let Yuji live but he also feels Yuji was the victim of Kenjaku playing Jujutsu Terrorist.

Kusakabe is thinking logically which is why he made that statement, if Gojo had executed Yuji, Sukuna wouldn’t have wreaked havoc.

He also says “It’s about time you kids started acting your age. It’s embarrassing for us adults”.

How did Yuta Return to his Body?

Yuji asks how did Yuta return to his original body. Yuta then explains that he thought he was done when the copy technique reached its limit as Rika didn’t go with him to Gojo’s body.

However, Rika repaired and maintained the body using the Reverse Cursed Technique while Shoko Ieiri treated the body. Rika played a major part in bringing Yuta back.

Maki shows disappointment in Yuta, “Yuta… if you had acted properly, you could have won more easily”.

Aoi Todo is Alive

Maki is discussing the shortcomings with Aoi Todo, and how they could have won against Kenjaku easily.

She says she should have been the one to surprise attack Kenjaku, besides we had Higuruma’s Executioner’s Sword.

Maki says Higuruma should have been the one with the tap recorder with Inumaki’s speech cursed technique recorded. This way they could have ended things easily.

Multiple simultaneous activations are not possible, and since the cursed speech is considered to be in activation from recording to playback, only one voice recorder can be used.

Aoi Todo explains, that without his help Yuta would have never been able to surprise attack. Also, Yuta’s and Rika’s powers were necessary against the cursed spirits.

Higuruma is alive as well

Higuruma is alive, a little patched up but alive. Panda explains why Toge’s cursed speech technique was not a good option at that time.

If they had used his speech technique at that time, Inumaki would have been killed by the backlash.

Kusakabe says it is scary that a guy who has been a sorcerer for only two months survived against Sukuna. Higuruma says he counts himself lucky. Miguel and Larue arrives at the scene as well and they are fine too.

Yuta and Yuji discussing their team-up battle against Sukuna

Yuji is thankful to Yuta, because of his cursed tools they were able to hide Yuji’s finger from Sukuna and bluff in front of Sukuna.

Meanwhile, Aoi Todo blames himself for not saving Choso. Kirara asks if the issue was in his technique’s range, but turns out it was because of Sukuna’s cursed energy in his domain.

Yuji says it is nobody’s fault while Maki still holding Yuta by his collar. She says, she was hit by two black flashes but she does not blame anyone.

Meanwhile, Hakari says he wanted to fight Sukuna as well but his fight with Uraume took him some time as Uraume was tough. Nobara on the other hand says she was sleeping so she had no idea what was going on.

Kusakabe then explains the Simple Domain Technique in detail. He became the head of Shadow Style school as well.

Kusakabe also explains there were unnecessary binding vows for learning the Shadow Style by the previous head and he does not even know where the previous head is.

Mei Mei and the Store Owner

The panel shifts to Mei Mei and the candy store owner, this is a past event, turns out he is not just a candy store owner. Mei Mei says “You were planning to increase your disciples… become a powerful force… and take control of the entire Jujutsu Headquarters, weren’t you?”

The old man says: Tengen!!, that is the only mention of Tengen in this chapter though!

[Mya Leaks] JJK 269 Spoilers, Review and Raw Scans

Turns out the old guy is the previous head and he was absorbing the lifespan from his disciples. Mei Mei also claims a lot of sorcerers could have survived if there had not been a monopoly of Simple Domain.

Then she discusses how money is the most important thing in the world. There are a few things I don’t understand in the last panel so I am just going to quote what Mei Mei said in the last panel before killing the old guy:

The Kamo and Gojo families will both collapse in this decisive battle. This is going to hurt my little brother. This is what it means to be cursed. This was inevitable.

The chapter ended on a huge cliffhanger.

Final Words

Only two chapters are left now, how is gege going to show us another war in just two chapters? Besides, there was no need to prolong the plot anyway.

Also, the last panel is a bit off, so wait for the official translations on Sunday. You can read the chapter on VizMedia or MangaPlus. There is no break next week and the JJK Manga will end on 29th September, 2024.
