JJK 268 Release Date – Where To Read Spoilers and Raw Leaks?

The most recent chapter brought back a major character from the dead. Only four chapters left before the Jujutsu Kaisen manga concludes officially.

According to the author, the fight between Yuji and Sukuna is over after Yuji used a black flash with Overflowing Cursed Energy on Sukuna.

So, when will JJK 268 be released, and where you can read the upcoming chapter spoilers early?

When Will JJK 268 Release?

JJK 268 will officially be released on 1st September as per the schedule shared by the manga publisher.

With no break next week, expect the JJK 268 spoilers to be released on August 29th, 2024.

Where Can I Read The Spoilers?

The spoilers usually arrive on Twitter in Raw. However, I translate and publish the chapter in English on Replay Jutsu as soon as I receive the raw spoilers.

Officially the chapter will be released on Manga Plus (The Official Publisher).

What Happened in JJK 267?

The character return I mentioned earlier is Nobara. She was killed by Mahito during the Shibuya Incident Arc.

The chapter started with Yuta and Gojo discussing the copy technique, and how Yuta’s copy technique works.

It requires consuming a part of the sorcerer’s body and the intensity depends on the amount.

Also, if the sorcerer uses the RCT to recover that part, Yuta’s copy technique won’t work anymore.

We also found out the truth about the finger that was shown in the JJK 266 chapter.

In the flashback, Yuta asks Gojo about the 20th finger of Sukuna, he then claims he can consume the finger to use the shrine technique.

However, Gojo declined and said even if he consumed the finger he won’t be able to.

So, the finger we saw at the end of JJK 266 was Sukuna’s. Yuta actually bluffed about consuming Sukuna’s finger, he consumed Yuji’s finger.

Nobara came back and used the resonance ability on the final finger of Sukuna.

This significantly weakens Sukuna, and Yuji delivers the final blow with the ultimate black flash—the strongest ever seen. This black flash resulted in the defeat of Sukuna.

What To Expect From JJK 268 and Can Gojo Return?

Honestly, after Nobara’s unexpected return after being sidelined for over 100 chapters, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Gojo’s return either.

Many fans are dissatisfied with Nobara’s sudden return, but I believe it was a necessary move, as there was no one else left to aid Yuji against Sukuna.

Gege never clarified Nobara’s fate, but she appears to have been healed after Mahito’s attack, despite the technique usually being fatal unless it misses a vital spot.

With Todo, Mahito used the same technique on hand but Todo quickly cut off his hand to stop the technique from spreading. But this resulted in losing his cursed technique Boogie Woogie.

He later regained it using the Vibraslap but lost it once more during his fight with Sukuna.

Fans Disappointed with Nobara’s Return

Many fans are demanding an explanation for Nobara’s abrupt return. The latest chapter only revealed that she woke up and used her resonance ability from behind the scenes, which Yuji quickly recognized.

Yuta’s fate remains unknown after he fainted from cursed energy exhaustion. The upcoming chapter may shift its focus to the Uraume vs. Hakari fight.

Sukuna is still alive as the goal was never to kill him but separate him from Megumi.

JJK 268 Theory

The upcoming chapter may either shift perspectives or show Yuji using his dismantle technique to separate Sukuna from Megumi, potentially consuming Sukuna again to save Megumi.

However, fully eliminating Sukuna’s threat might require Yuji’s sacrifice. This is purely speculative, as Gege’s plans remain unclear.

Additionally, the merger, a central plot point of the Culling Games Arc, still hangs in the balance.

Final Words

With the Jujutsu Kaisen manga concluding on September 29th, 2024, Gege has only four chapters to tie up loose ends. Sukuna’s defeat leaves a few remaining plotlines to address. We’ll learn more when JJK 268 releases on September 1st.
