Recent leaks of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268 offer a look into the letters Gojo Satoru left for Nobara and Megumi.
Yuji had those letters and it confirms that Gojo always believed in Yuji that he would save Megumi even if he died.
“Sukuna was defeated by Yuji with the help of Nobara and Megumi. In the end, it was the trio, Gojo’s students who ended up defeating Sukuna.
Yuji’s blackflash separated Sukuna from Megumi and Sukuna was peeled off from Megumi and Sukuna then became a cursed spirit, we then see Sukuna’s cursed spirit fading away.
Meanwhile, Uraume also faded away after learning about Sukuna’s defeat.
Yuji delivered Gojo’s letter which he got from Shoko to Nobara and Megumi, turns out Gojo didn’t write a letter for Yuji as they already had a heart-to-heart.
Letter For Nobara
Gojo’s letter to Nobara revealed the location of her mother.
Nobara crushes the letter, on this yuji asks if she even wanted to know about it, and she says not at all.
Letter For Megumi
Nobara then asks Megumi if he got a promotion or something like that, on this Megumi laughs. The letter bluntly states: ‘Unfortunately your father isn’t around anymore – because I killed him!! Sorry.
Toji nearly killed Gojo in their fight and also killed the vessel. Toji was actually the reason why Geto decided to go evil and how Gojo learned the RCT technique.
Since Gojo’s letter didn’t explicitly mention Toji’s name, Megumi likely won’t realize who his father was. Having grown up without a father, this revelation doesn’t appear to deeply affect his heart.
Final Words
Instead of heartfelt messages, the letters offered closure by revealing information about their parents.
Despite this lack of feelings in those letters, both Nobara and Megumi seem to find peace in the information they got from Gojo. This also pretty much confirms Gojo won’t return in Jujutsu Kaisen!
