What Happened in JJK 264?

So, the early JJK 264 spoilers arrived today and I have already covered them in detail in another article. Will discuss key details here of what happened in the latest chapter.

The chapter started with Yuji punching the ground to imbalance Sukuna’s footing. Hana uses Jacob’s Ladder on Sukuna but it is nerfed because of her injuries.

Sukuna climbs through the pillar of light so that he can kill Hana. However, as he charges the black flash, Aoi Todo arrives and takes the blow to protect Hana.

Aoi Todo is now down (not killed) but out of service and the last man standing is Yuji Itadori. Yuji lands a punch on Sukuna then grabs his leg and throws him towards a nearby building.

Sukuna realizes that only dismantle technique can prove fatal to him otherwise Yuji is no threat to Sukuna.

Sukuna regains his reverse cursed technique after hitting multiple black flashes and recovers his damaged arms to fight Yuji.

Just when Sukuna thought he overpowered Yuji with his arms, a flashback appears in which Gojo is discussing the domain expansion with Yuji.

Yuji already learnt simple domain from Kusakabe and now he finally decides to use the domain expansion.

Yuji then uses the hand signs and says Domain Expansion, we still don’t know the name of the domain. However, Sukuna wakes up in a train station looking like Yuji. Yuji then says Let’s Go Sukuna.

What To Expect From Next Chapter

Yuji’s domain has been in front of our eyes the whole time. The opening of JJK anime shows us Yuji on a train. His domain turned out to be a train station too.

However, we still don’t know why Sukuna is now looking like Yuji. But it seems it is the end for Sukuna.

Sukuna has managed to deal with Hollow Purple by Yuta, multiple black flashes from Yuji, Binding Vow Dismantle by Yuji, and Jacob’s Ladder at maximum output.

Even though he managed to recover his arms, he still does not possess the cursed energy he used to anymore.

Now it all depends on what Yuji’s domain expansion really is, it will take a few more chapters before we see Sukuna’s demise at the hands of Yuji.

Some fans on Reddit believe that Sukuna is already dead and what we are seeing is the transition to the afterlife, the same thing happened with Gojo, after he was killed offscreen, an airport scene appeared in which all of his past friends were there to greet him.

Final Words

I am really excited about the upcoming chapter as I have always wanted to see Yuji use domain expansion sadly he was sidelined for a whole arc but now he is back and he is going to be one to kill Sukuna and save Megumi.

I am hoping that his train station lookalike domain expansion is going to save Megumi. Gotta wait for one more week to find out more!!
