The Chapter Ended on a Cliffhanger
Yuta, who was controlling Gojo’s body was defeated by Sukuna’s surprise attack. We saw his lifeless body cradled by Rika, his cursed spirit companion, as the time limit for his control expired.
But is Yuta truly gone? Some fans believe he might still be hanging on in Gojo’s body, even though the timer ran out. We’ll have to wait and see what the next chapter reveals.
Can Gojo Return?
A lot of fans believe that Gojo will be returning in the next chapter too. Will he finally be able to regain control of his body?
And if so, in what condition will he be? As we know Gojo died during his battle with Sukuna and his body was sliced in half.
Because of his death, Yuta was able to use his body using the Kenjaku’s technique. So, personally, I don’t think Gojo can return.
Why Yuta Couldn’t Defeat Sukuna?
Sukuna had a time limit on his domain of 3 minutes and Yuta had a plan that he had to wait only 3 minutes. By shrinking Gojo’s Domain Expansion, Yuta hopes to withstand Sukuna’s attacks for the three minutes that his domain typically lasts.
However, Sukuna also shrinks his own domain, removing its time limit and focusing all his energy on Gojo’s invisible barrier. Sukuna used domain amplification and managed to break and hit Yuta (Gojo’s body).
Yuta didn’t predict this and was sure that with Gojo’s body, he would be able to hold onto his own inside Sukuna’s domain expansion but Sukuna already knew all about it while Yuta didn’t know Sukuna could do that to remove the time limit.
Final Words
We hope Gege recovers soon as the latest chapter was rushed and was super small. Really hope that Yuta didn’t die as there is no one else that can counter Sukuna’s domain expansion anymore. Maybe we will see more Yuji’s black flashes.
