The leaks for chapter 255 are out, and things are getting seriously intense! In the last chapter, JJK 254, Miguel showed up to protect Ui Ui from Sukuna, leading to a clash. Now, it seems like more help is on the way, but the danger is far from over. Let’s discuss what happened in JJK 255 and who else came to fight Sukuna along with Miguel.
Miguel and Larue
It turns out it’s not just Yuta trying to recruit Miguel! Larue, Geto’s old comrade, is here too. Their plan isn’t revenge, but something much more personal.
They want Miguel to help them visit Geto’s grave and say a proper goodbye. It’s a surprisingly touching request, and makes you wonder if Miguel will change his mind. Miguel is terrified of fighting Sukuna at full strength, so he agrees only if they wait until Sukuna is weakened and can’t use his Domain.
Sukuna is Injured, But Still Dangerous
Larue reveals they’ve been watching closely, and know about Sukuna’s injuries. Sukuna domain is sealed. This is a huge win for our heroes! Sukuna’s Domain was devastating. One arm is gone, and another is damaged, hindering his fighting ability. His Reverse Cursed Technique seems slow, which is a major weakness.
Miguel’s and Larue’s Power Revealed
We get a closer look at Miguel’s technique, and it sounds pretty unique.
- Hakuna Raana (Song of Exorcism): This seems to boost his physical strength and maybe even weaken curses.
- Larue’s Technique: “Heart Catch”: She can grab someone’s technique and even use it, but it also damages her. Tricky!
Gojo’s Analysis (And a Little Trash Talk!)
Flashbacks! Flashbacks! Are you tired of them? Gojo pipes up, and even he’s impressed by Miguel. Here’s what he has to say:
- He points out that most sorcerers are in Japan, and Miguel stands out with his raw physical power.
- Miguel pushes back against labels, making the point that he’s strong because of who he is, not his race.
- Without techniques, Gojo thinks Miguel could beat him in a straight-up brawl!
Sukuna Attacks, But There’s Hope!
We get back to Miguel vs Sukuna POV. Sukuna, annoyed by this whole conversation, prepares to unleash a devastating Dismantle attack. But before that, a binding vow comes into play – it seems past Sukuna set up a way to use Dismantle even without the hand signs!
Just then, Yuji and Maki arrive! It looks like they’ve timed this perfectly. Sukuna’s missing arms are a huge problem for him right now. He still can’t heal properly.
The chapter ends with a massive cliffhanger – will our heroes pull off a victory, or is Sukuna about to show them why he’s the King of Curses? We’ll have to wait and see! JJK 255 will release officially on Sunday, 31st March 2024.
