Who’s Dullahan and Why Should I Care?

Dullahan is tough, he drops valuable loot, and most importantly, his bones are super useful for enhancing some of the best weapons and armor in the game. If you’re serious about making your Arisen a powerhouse, this guy’s on your to-do list. I have already covered a guide on this monster:

The “Till Death Do Us Part Quest*

You won’t bump into Dullahan just wandering around. He’s tied to a side quest called “Till Death Do Us Part”. Without spoiling too much, this quest involves helping a lady whose husband is in danger. You can trigger this quest by:

  1. Completing the “Nameless Village” quest given by Brant in Vernworth (that’s the main city area).
  2. Chatting with Oswald by the fountain near the Noble Quarter entrance in Vernworth.
  3. Finding Margit, the aforementioned worried wife, also in the Noble District.

Once you start the quest, you’ll get a location marker deep in the Misty Marshes. It’s a timed mission, so get there fast!

The Marsh Hunt

The Misty Marshes are…well, misty. But luckily, there are torches to guide you along the path. Just follow that trail until you reach the “Illdoers’ Resting Place“. That’s where you’ll find Dullahan getting up to no good. Get ready for a fight!

Taking Down Dullahan

  • Spells aren’t as effective. Think swords, daggers, warrior stuff.
  • This fight can get rough. Having a mage dedicated to keeping everyone alive is a huge help.
  • Some soldiers will be there fighting him too. Nice of them, but try not to get in their way.

Focus on Dullahan, take him down, and hopefully, you’ll get a bone or two during the fight. After you wrap things up with the quest, the good news starts!

Farming Time

Now that you’ve completed the quest, Dullahan can now spawn randomly at night in certain areas. The best spot for farming is along the roads around Vernworth. Here are a few reliable places to check:

  • Rest at the campsite to bring on nightfall, then patrol the road nearby.
  • Another campsite nearby. Same strategy – rest, then hunt along the roads.

If he spawns near other enemies, lure him to a clear area for an easier fight.

There is also a roaming merchant near the Ancient Battleground who sells the bones. Might be worth checking out if you’re bone-hunting gets frustrating! The cost is 3000G.

Merchant Location

There you have it! Farming Dullahan can be a bit of a grind, but those upgrades are worth the effort. Just remember, patience, a good weapon, and maybe a healing potion or two are your best friends in this hunt.
