Drama Queen Chapter 3 was just released on Manga Plus. The mysterious guy introduced in the last chapter, who we all thought was either an official detective or a private investigator, turned out to be something else entirely. He is actually part of an operation called “Extermination of Aliens.”
Turns out, there are humans who put out hits on aliens, and this guy’s job is to find hitmen willing to take on the job, and then pay them.
He runs a whole organization this way, working from the shadows. I will first give you a brief recap of the previous chapter and then discuss the events of the latest chapter.
Recap
The previous chapter started with Kitami’s flashback to the accident that killed his family, caused by an alien driver who ran away.
In the present, Kitami tries alien meat for the first time but hates it so much he throws up, while Nomamoto finds it tasty.
Their alien neighbors show up complaining about low ceilings but also insult Nomamoto, telling her to take a bath because of a terrible smell, not realizing it is the alien meat.
After the neighbors leave, Nomamoto decides she will eat aliens raw from now on. Kitami calls their plan impossible since there are 60,000 aliens in the city, but Nomamoto doesn’t care. Kitami later kills five aliens, and Nomamoto eats them raw, thinking this might scare the aliens away.
The chapter ends with a hint of trouble. Someone is watching Kitami and Nomamoto through satellite footage, leaving us wondering if they are already being tracked.

Nomamoto Gets Hungry… Again
Drama Queen Chapter 3, titled ‘Creepy‘, starts with Nomamoto sitting across from her alien neighbor couple, who are flirting with each other on a bench in the park.
Watching them, Nomamoto starts feeling hungry since she is now pretty much hooked on alien meat. But she suddenly remembers the warning, Kitami warns her not to eat them because it would raise suspicion.
The Mysterious Guy Strikes
Nomamoto talks to the aliens for a bit, but out of nowhere, the mysterious guy from the last chapter shows up and grabs her.
Meanwhile, Kitami is in a store reading the news but notices there’s nothing about the aliens Nomamoto ate.
As soon as he steps out of the store, the same mysterious guy grabs him too. He takes both of them to a restaurant and tells them to order one or two things from the menu.
He then tells Nomamoto and Kitami that he has been tracking them. He saw them using satellite footage and used advanced technology to figure out where they live since their faces were not clear in the video.
Meet Iglaskar: The Middleman
The man introduces himself as Iglaskar and explains how his organization works. Basically, he is the middleman, when someone puts out a hit on an alien (since not everyone likes them), he finds someone willing to do the job and pays them for it.
However, there is one big issue with their method. No matter what they try melting, boiling, or even using cement, the smell of the aliens just won’t go away.
Iglaskar is actually curious about Kitami and Nomamoto’s methods because he is shocked that two broke kids, who can’t even make minimum wage, can make aliens completely disappear without a trace.
Kitami Denies Everything
At first, Kitami completely denies having anything to do with killing or making aliens disappear. But Iglaskar pulls out a gun, points it at Kitami, and says if he is not going to share his methods, then he is just competition and useless to him.
Before things get worse, Nomamoto throws a bowl of ramen at the gun and says she needs Kitami for the killing since she is not strong enough to do it herself.
Iglaskar then turns the gun on Nomamoto, calling her useless because he does not realize she is the key, she eats the aliens, which erases all evidence.
The First Contract
Iglaskar reveals his real goal: he wants to hire both of them to kill high-level aliens for him, promising to pay them well. Kitami refuses at first but eventually agrees.
However, he makes it clear he won’t reveal how they erase the evidence because he doesn’t trust Iglaskar.
Iglaskar gives Kitami and Nomamoto their first contract and introduces them to Backbone (their gender isn’t revealed yet). Backbone explains the details of the job, saying the target is staying in a fancy hotel where only the richest people live.
Later, while on a call with Iglaskar, Backbone gets a warning. Iglaskar tells them, “If the mission isn’t done… you know what to do.”
After reading chapter 3 of Drama Queen I can confidently say this isn't gonna be a "Death Note thingy where the main characters are the bad guys and there's a detective trying to catch them" and instead is gonna be a "Nomamoto and Kitami join the KKK"

Drama Queen Chapter 3 Review
Drama Queen Chapter 3 introduced two new characters, Iglaskar and Backbone. The story is really picking up now, and I’m curious to see how they will deal with the new contract and Backbone’s shady orders.
I thought it would take a little longer for the mysterious guy to find Nomamoto and Kitami, but they are already caught by someone by chapter 3. That was quicker than I expected.
Now it makes me think, how hard would it be for the police or real detectives to find them? Aliens suddenly disappearing is definitely going to make people ask questions.
Plus, most humans owe them something and they’re in all the top positions on Earth, so it’s not like no one will notice.
The story feels like it’s moving faster than I thought. I know it’s a comedy-sci-fi, but still, it feels like things are rushing ahead too fast. It’ll be interesting to see where the author goes with this!
