Okay, so anyone who’s played Dragon’s Dogma 2 for even a little bit probably stumbled into the “Hunt for the Jadeite Orb” quest. You get roped in as soon as you hit Checkpoint Rest Town, with a whole bunch of drama about this rare jewel that everyone seems to want. It sounds like a big hassle… but here’s the secret: it’s super easy to find.

Who Wants This Thing?
- Offulve: This guy approaches you right by the town entrance, all desperate to find the Jadeite Orb. Seems sketchy, honestly.
- Everard: Lurking near the inn, this guy also wants the orb. He offers way more money than Offulve, which makes me suspicious…

Where To Find Jadeite Orb
Forget those two for a second. Head over to Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop (it’s just up the alley from the inn). Talk to Ibrahim, go into the “Buy” menu, and boom! The Jadeite Orb is for sale, plain as day. It’ll set you back 7,500 gold, so hopefully you’ve been doing some side quests.
Should You give the Jadeite Orb To Offulve Or Everard?
Yup! Turns out, this whole quest is kind of smoke and mirrors to distract you. Now, the fun part is deciding what to actually do with the orb.
- Give it to Offulve: The straightforward option, but he’s not paying much…(3000 G)
- Hand it to Everard: More cash in your pocket, but what’s this dude’s deal? (14,000 G)
- Get Crafty: Ibrahim can forge a copy, but it takes time and some extra gold. Also, for this quest, it won’t work. I didn’t try this yet.
If you give it to Offulve, you receive Camp Kit as a reward along with the gold while if you give it to Everard you will receive Ring of Skullduggery as a reward. So choose wisely, it’s entirely up to you.
Final Words
If 7,500 gold feels steep, tackle a few notice board quests for a quick boost. Choosing who gets the orb leads to some interesting consequences, so experiment if you’re feeling adventurous!
And that’s it! No crazy scavenger hunts, just a shop with the item in stock. Sometimes, Dragon’s Dogma 2 loves throwing you off the scent, don’t they?
