How To Fix Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Blocked Quest

There are some workarounds not an official fix yet, you need to make sure all DLC files are properly installed.

If you are on Xbox or PS5, you might need to check for updates or restore licenses. Logging out and switching characters may also help.

The devs have acknowledged the issue and are working on a fix, but for now, you need to try the workarounds I mentioned above. There is no other fix as of now. Community Manager Adam Fletcher wrote:

We have seen the reports of players losing access to Vessel of Hatred randomly through their play sessions on consoles.

We have identified the issue and have a fix in flight for testing. The plan is for this to be in our next hotfix.

The workaround for now is to log out and back in or by swapping to a non Spiritborn character and then back again.

Apologies for this but we are hoping to have a fix out for this soon!

Final Words

The expansion brings the Spiritborn class, based around jungle combat, and a new region called Nahantu.

Players can explore new dungeons and face off against new enemies, all while continuing the story of hunting down Mephisto.

The expansion also introduces Dark Citadel, a new endgame dungeon that needs teamwork, and the ability to recruit mercenaries to fight alongside you.
