Classroom of the Elite Season 4 is confirmed and a teaser visual was released to confirm this news today. However, there is no release date revealed yet.

It’s still too early to discuss a release date, as Season 3 concluded just this past March. The animation studio is not confirmed yet either.

What we do know is that Kiyotaka will be starting his second year in the upcoming season.

The anime is based on a light novel series written by Shogo Kinugasa, so the story will follow those light novels. Ayanokouji will face new challenges in his second year at school.

However, Classroom of Elite Season 4 first needs to tie up some loose ends of last season as well.

As we all saw at the end of season 3, Kiyotaka is in danger in the school as the current acting chairman works for his dad and his dad wants him back in the organization.

However, Kiyotaka wants to graduate from his current school and then take over the organization and run it in his own way.

SSE also revealed the plot of Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 sequel novels:

As Ayanokouji and his classmates begin their second year at the Advanced Nurturing High School, they’re greeted by a fresh gauntlet of exams and a fresh batch of rather unique first-year students.

They’ll have to get to know each other quickly, because the first special exam pairs the first-years with the second-years on a written test—with only the second-years facing expulsion if their team performs poorly! Worse yet?

It seems one of the new first-years is also from the White Room. Can Ayanokouji avoid expulsion while sussing out the identity of this hidden foe.

Final Words

While nothing much has been revealed yet it is still good news that they decided to renew the show. The announcement came as a pleasant surprise this year. For those eager for more, the light novels are available to read.
