What Happened in CSM 173?
Some fans including me are calling the latest chapter peak while some are calling it the worst chapter of the entire series.
CSM 173 was quite short and a bit funny since they showed panels with animals having no ears.
Everyone on Earth has lost their ears and can’t hear anything. Public Safety tries to communicate by writing messages and spelling out words. They test the theories using the prisoners.
A new primal devil is also introduced in this chapter. A lot of confusion is going on regarding this chapter and hopefully, the upcoming chapter will clear it.
The Chainsaw Man fights the new devil. During their fight, Yoshida shows up and uses his octopus devil to restrain Black Chainsaw Man.
He then squeezes Denji so hard that he throws up the Ear Devil. This restores everyone’s ear.
Final Words
As we know Denji has gone off the rails because he has lost so many people. He is mentally not well anymore.
So, what I speculate is, that Denji will fight the death devil so that he can consume him and erase the concept of death from the world.
This way Denji will never lose anyone again and everyone will have eternal life.
