Blue Lock 284, titled “The Soul“ kicks off with a huge save by Gagamaru. He stopped PXG from scoring what could have been the winning goal. Raichi and Igaguri rush over to celebrate with him.
Isagi Destroyed Rin’s Chance To Score
Hiori, watching from the sidelines is impressed by Isagi’s tactical brilliance. Isagi let Rin pass him on purpose, limiting Rin’s shooting options and setting Kaiser up to intercept. He had to swallow his pride to stop Rin as this new Isagi only cares about winning.
Rin doesn’t hold back and mocks Isagi for getting too cocky. He criticizes him for lacking a true striker’s ego.
But Isagi fires back, saying he beat Rin with logic, showing that a prodigy can outsmart even a natural genius like Rin and Loki.
He makes it clear that he is here to crush Rin’s glory and doesn’t regret it one bit. He humiliated Rin in front of the whole world.
With the master-striker star swap taking Loki off the field, Isagi uses the opportunity to taunt PXG even more, saying that Loki is only special because of his fast legs.
Noa steps in to stop Isagi from overdoing it, reminding him that the match is being broadcast live.
Isagi Challenges Noa and Teams Up With Kaiser
But Isagi brushes him off, declaring war on Noel Noa as well, as he is clearly still angry, Noel used him as a decoy for Kaiser’s evolution.
The chapter ends on a cliffhanger with Isagi asking Kaiser to team up with him to score the final goal and end the match.
The chemistry between the two rivals might be just what BM needs right now to seal the deal and win!
What To Expect From Blue Lock 285
With Loki out, PXG is at a disadvantage now, Rin is a monster but even he is not going to survive the team-up of Kaiser and Isagi. Most likely the match will conclude with Isagi scoring the final goal.
During the third selection match before the Japan U-20 vs Blue Lock, Isagi impressed everyone by scoring the most unexpected goal and surpassed Rin and Shidou. I am expecting something similar from the upcoming chapter!!
