Bleach TYBW Episode 33 Recap

Bleach TYBW Episode 33, titled Gate of the Sun, kicks off with Yhwach reshaping the Soul King Palace into Wahrwelt, his new castle.

He orders his Schutzstaffel to deal with the invading Soul Reapers. Urahara and Shunsui discuss the situation while the Soul Reapers, along with some Quincies, prepare to fight.

Zaraki and Kurotsuchi show up through a separate gate, and a hilarious argument breaks out. Zaraki casually admits he got left behind because he went to the restroom. After some banter, they head toward Yhwach’s castle.

Ichigo’s group, including Grimmjow, Nelliel, Orihime, Chad, and Yoruichi, encounters Askin Nakk Le Vaar. Grimmjow tries to fight him, but Askin keeps running away.

Grimmjow partially transforms to catch up. Unfortunately, Askin tricks him into breaking a poison trap, leaving him vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Lille Barro uses his sniper to attack Urahara’s squad, forcing them to split up. In the chaos, Renji runs into Uryu.

Renji attacks, thinking he can easily win. However, Uryu counters using his Quincy powers and defeats Renji.

Uryu explains that Renji avoided critical hits and underestimated his strength, and that is why he lost.

Bleach TYBW Episode 34 Preview

What To Expect From Bleach TYBW Episode 34

According to the manga, the episode should have focused on the fight between Bazz-B and Jugram Haschwalth.

However, according to the preview we have received, the episode titled “Baby Hold Your Hand” will feature Mayuri Kurotsuchi vs Pernida Parnkgjas.

The battle between Mayuri Kurotsuchi and Pernida Parnkgjas is one of the most creative and bizarre fights in Bleach.

At first, Kenpachi tries to fight Pernida but they quickly realize that this opponent is not someone they can beat with just brute force.

Pernida uses his ability to completely destroy Kenpachi’s arm and he has to amputate it to survive.

Mayuri then uses  Ashisogi Jizō to paralyze Kenpachi so that he can fight with Pernida without any distractions.

I won’t spoil much, but the upcoming chapter will adapt chapter 636 and onwards. Only 6 episodes are remaining, I am not sure how they are going to showcase so many battles within 6 episodes. So far the Bleach TYBW cour 3 has been doing really well.
