It’s been a while since Black Myth Wukong officially released. A lot of players have been facing crashing issues since the launch of the game. The crash usually happens during the first cinematic scene of the game, when Erlang appears.

Fix Black Myth Wukong Crashing
Most of the AMD CPU owners, especially Ryzen 7 7800X3D owners are complaining about the issue. The key is to tweak some of the game’s settings before you even start playing.
It might feel a bit like sacrificing some eye candy initially, but trust me, it’s worth it to get past that frustrating first cinematic and into the heart of the action.
- Super Resolution Sampling: Switch this to FSR.
- Resolution Sampling: Dial it down to around 50 or 60.
- Ray Tracing: Turn this off completely.
- Graphic Preset: Set this to “Low”. This will automatically adjust all your other graphics settings to their lowest values.
Now, start the game and try to get through the opening cinematic and the first tutorial fight with Erlang.
Once you’re past that point and into the jungle area, you’re usually in the clear! You can then go back into the settings and adjust them to your liking.
Also, AMD recently released a new graphic driver after multiple AMD users reported the crashing issues, so don’t forget to update your graphic drivers as well.
