To be honest, Black Myth Wukong seems easier than Elden Ring, especially the latest DLC.

However, I have only fought two bosses uptill now and a mini-boss. I fought Wandering Wight and Guangzhi uptill now, both are early bosses of the game.

Both are at the same location, though Wandering Wight is an optional boss and you can simply ignore him, while Guangzhi is not optional, you have to defeat him to progress further.

Guangzhi Boss Location

After defeating the mini-boss Bullguard, keep moving forward until you reach the broken temple, where you can meditate.

Once you have meditated, you will see a small hole in the mountains, exactly opposite to the place where you meditated. Go inside this hole.

Inside, you will find the Shrine called Outside the Forest. Interact with it and reset your sparks, now use those sparks to upgrade the survival section in the foundation, and maximize your stamina.

Once you are done with this, go to the store in the shrine, and buy Body Cooling Powder, at least 2-3, as the enemy uses fire element and this item will make you resistant to fire for a short period of time.

For the first time around, the old man will turn you into a golden cicada, so you can avoid other enemies and reach the boss without fighting.

However, if you are defeated by the boss you will respawn near the shrine and this time around you can’t go sneakily.

Once you are done with everything in the shrine, keep moving forward and defeat the two enemies in front of you, then there will be another enemy defending the bridge.

Defeat him too, then move left after crossing the bridge, you will see the temple gate, enter it, and you will encounter Guangzhi Boss.

How To Beat Guangzhi Boss Easily

The boss Guangzhi uses a two-headed spear with fire on it. It has two main attacks: swinging the spear and charging towards the player for a melee attack. Both of these attacks are easy to dodge.

However, the fire will keep affecting you when you are near him unless you drink the Body Cooling Powder you bought earlier.

Don’t instantly use the immobilization spell when you encounter the Guangzhi Boss, rush towards him and use the heavy attack to stagger him, and then use the light combo attacks.

Keep doing this until he starts dodging and counter-attacks you, once he starts his counter attack use the immobilization attack.

Now use the light combo attacks again until the spell breaks, and try to create an opportunity to use heavy attack again to stagger.

The boss will use his blade staff to push himself up into the air and do a slam attack at your position. He will do this three times in a row.

So use the spacebar to dodge it again and again, make sure you have enough stamina each time, otherwise, you will get hit.

If the boss backs up spinning his staff and then pauses, he’s about to throw his weapon at you, this is quite easy to dodge too, timing matters.

The key to defeating him is to keep staggering him and using an immobilization spell whenever it is ready. It will take you 3-4 tries to understand the pattern of his attacks and once you get it, you can easily defeat him.
