Recently, came across a task called A Family Legacy. In this quest, the player needs to find a hidden treasure in a research institute.
First, you go to Mae’s old mansion and solve a code puzzle to get a map. The map leads you to a research institute where you get the treasure map. In this article, I will guide you on how you can solve the “A Family Legacy” puzzle.
How to Solve Cube Puzzle
The location of the mansion is attached above in the image, just south of Blackfell. Once you are there, you will see a big mansion, so enter that building.
Go to the room in front of you and interact with Mae’s diary. Defeat the enemies in the dining room and then you will see another diary of Mae.
She will tell you the password of the Cube Puzzle but only the first two digits, she seems to have forgotten the last two digits. Rotate cubes U, 6, and D in that order.
After you rotate the cubes in the order I told you above, a chest will appear in front of you as shown in the image.
This chest is Mae’s lockbox and consists of the Rosetta Researcher’s Map. It will show you the location of the institute. The research institute is northeast of Mae’s mansion.
Go to the institute and find the Rosetta marker above the elevator. Keep climbing the stairs until you see the research facility room.
Go to the top right corner of the room and you will see a small open room filled with files, the golden crate there consists of the treasure I spoke about earlier. After opening it, the task A Family Legacy will be completed.
