What Happened in Chainsaw Man Chapter 180?
Chainsaw Man 180 picks up where we left off after the Aging Devil made that offer to Chainsaw Man. Pochita refuses the deal, clutching the blood donation board.
Yoru fires a finger-shaped bullet at the Aging Devil, but it’s totally useless. The Aging Devil catches it easily, mocking Yoru’s attempt to fight him.
Yoru suddenly wakes up in a completely different reality, leaving her totally confused. In this strange new world, she sees Denji lying there in his human form.
She tries to shoot him again, but nothing happens. Then, a stranger appears and explains that this is the world created by the Aging Devil.
This stranger, who was once a devil hunter, accidentally made a deal with the Aging Devil and has been stuck in this world for 82 years. No one ages or dies here, and he even tried to end his own life, but it didn’t work.
As Yoru tries to process all of this, the stranger warns her that other people have been trapped here for so long that they have lost their minds. He actually thought Yoru was just another hallucination to help him cope with the loneliness.
The chapter ends with Yoru realizing that she is trapped in this world for the time being. There seems to be no easy way out of the world.
Final Words
Since Yoru didn't make any deal with the Aging Devil, I am sure she will return in the next chapter. Or we will get to see some Asa and Denji moments in the upcoming chapter.
Yoru underestimated Aging Devil and now she is paying the price. We will find out more in Chainsaw Man Chapter 181.
