Dandadan Episode 2 is scheduled to be released on 10th, October, 2024. The upcoming episode will be the adaption of chapter 2 of Dandadan Manga. The creators have confirmed that there will be a total of 12 episodes in Season 1.
Recap
The first episode of DanDaDan introduced two main characters, Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura. Momo believes in ghosts but does not believe in the aliens while Ken believes in aliens but not in the ghosts, so they decided to challenge each other.
Ken goes hunting for ghosts, while Momo looks for aliens. Turns out both are real! Momo is abducted by aliens, trying to steal her (reproductive) organs, while Ken is possessed by a ghost called Turbo Granny, who steals his “banana”.
They both gain abilities, Momo is able to use her psychic abilities while Ken can transform into a monster due to the curse placed by Granny.
In the end, they escape on a UFO, but Ken still needs to deal with his curse. The episode ends with a cliffhanger, revealing that Ken shares the same name as Momo’s favorite actor.

Dandadan Episode 2 will be released on 10th October in regions like the USA and UK at 9 PM PT. While in Japan the episode will be released on 11th October at 12:30 am JST.

What To Expect From Dandadan Episode 2
As I mentioned above, the upcoming episode will be the adaptation of chapter 2. The episode will start with Momo being shocked by Ken Takakura’s name.
So she will come up with a ground rule, they won’t be using Ken’s real name, and Momo will be calling him Okarun from now on.
Momo will then explain to Ken that Granny won’t come out since it is morning already so Ken should come over to her place and wait till night.
However, Ken will not be able to enter her house since Momo’s grandmother has some talisman put on the gate that helps against “evil and misfortune“. Since Ken has a curse placed on him, he is unable to enter.
Momo will then remove the talisman and then Ken will be able to enter the house. They will change clothes but Ken will be shocked to see, his penis is gone as Granny said she has his ‘Schlong’, and the only way the curse can be lifted is if he gets it back from Granny.
Later, it will turn out that removing the talisman had a really big consequence. Flatwoods Monster will show up and he will demand organs. The upcoming episode will show us a supernatural showdown between Momo, Ken, and the Flatwoods Monster.
