Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270 Release Date, Spoilers and Kenjaku in Yuta’s Body Theory Explained

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270 is scheduled to be released on 22nd September 2024. The chapter is going to be the second last chapter of the manga.

In the previous chapter, we learned about a lot of characters who survived including Yuta Okkotsu. Gege ended the latest chapter on a huge cliffhanger.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270 Release Date

As mentioned above, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270 will be released on 22nd September 2024 in regions like the USA and the UK. While in Japan the chapter will release on 23rd September.

However, as usual, the spoilers will come out early, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270 spoilers will be available on 19th September.

Where Can I Read The Spoilers?

The Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers usually arrive on Twitter in Raw. However, I translate and publish the chapter in English on Replay Jutsu as soon as I receive the raw spoilers.

Officially the chapter will be released on Manga Plus (The Official Publisher). Prominent leakers like Mya will release the chapter on Twitter.

What Happened in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269?

Yuta awakens in his own body, thanks to the combined efforts of Rika and Shoko Ieiri. However, Maki is super angry at him for worrying her. Maki also discusses her shortcomings in the battle and ways how they could have won easily.

The chapter also reveals the survival of other characters like Aoi Todo and Higuruma. They discuss their strategies and limitations during the battle.

Yuji thanks Yuta for his help, and Kusakabe explains the Simple Domain technique, now that he is the head of the Shadow Style school.

A flashback reveals Mei Mei killing the previous head of the Shadow Style school, who was absorbing his disciples’ lifespans. She predicts the downfall of the Kamo and Gojo families in an upcoming battle.

The chapter ends with a cliffhanger, leaving readers wondering how the story will conclude in the remaining two chapters.

What To Expect From Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 270?

Even though we all know Gojo is dead, Gege really needs to make it official so a lot of fans can bury the hatchet. Each chapter ignites a new theory related to Gojo’s return.

Gege should tie up the remaining loose ends such as the Tengen Plot instead of introducing new plotlines.

The remaining two chapters won’t be enough to cover an entire war between two families unless a sequel is planned. Alot of fans are hoping for a sequel as well.

Kenjaku in Yuta’s Body

What if the Yuta in front of us is not really Yuta but Kenjaku? If Gege is planning a sequel this theory seems plausible.

However, we all know Yuta is Gege’s favorite. So chances of him being Kenjaku are low, but let’s discuss this theory anyway.

Back in JJK 243, Yuta managed to slice Kenjaku’s head off with the help of Aoi Todo’s ability.

However, his severed head said, “My will shall be inherited“. Alot of fans have been speculating his return ever since. Yuta’s return is actually suspicious, it was not properly explained in the JJK 269.

Yuta still has stitches on his forehead, Gege explained that the stitches are healable using RCT but Kenjaku couldn’t heal him due to some sort of binding vow.

The theory suggests that Gege “killed Kenjaku off” to bring him back later like in the upcoming chapter, potentially setting the stage for a sequel.

Kenjaku was able to fool even Gojo and was able to capture him using Geto’s body. Even though Gojo has six eyes he was fooled for a minute. So I don’t think it’s a problem for Kenjaku to fool the remaining sorcerers.

This theory is only plausible incase Gege is planning a sequel otherwise there is no point of bringing Kenjaku back in the last two chapters.

We will find out more about this upcoming war on 22nd September. Most likely the war will be offscreened. It’s good to see so many characters survived, however, Gojo is still dead and it seems he won’t be coming back.
