The latest chapters have proven Gun Park is the strongest among the second generation.
Gun Park was first introduced in the school festival arc where he met Daniel and easily defeated him, even Vasco didn’t stand a chance against him.
They were both ready to fight Gun Park together but Crystal stopped Gun Park and he said you both don’t stand a chance against him.
Charles Choi made him the personal bodyguard of Crystal Choi because of his strength.
Gun Park and Goo Kim were trained by Tom Lee and later they became rivals.
They fought twice off-screen but we don’t know who won, they both sustained heavy damage in both fights.
However, the latest chapters made it clear who is stronger now.
Fast forward, Gun Park became part of Ten Geniuses, a community started by Charles Choi to grow the HNH Company.
Goo and Gun Park created the four major crews that included the strongest second-generation fighters.
However, after Charles Choi’s goals were complete, Gun Park started dismantling the crews and easily did so.
So how strong Gun Park really is, even though Daniel Park is the main character of Lookism, PTJ still managed to make Gun Park unbeatable at the end of his arc.
What Generation Gun Park is Considered?
Officially Gun Park is a second-generation fighter. However, in an interview by PTJ, they confirmed Gun Park is actually a 1.5th-generation fighter.
The same goes for Goo Kim, and they were both trained by the 0th generation fighter, Tom Lee, from this we can get an idea about both of their strengths.
How Strong Gun Park is?
Gun’s fighting style is a blend of various martial arts. Throughout Lookism, we see the Gun’s overwhelming power on display. He effortlessly defeats multiple strong opponents at once.
Even when facing thousands of enemies or battling the Four Major Crews, he remained undefeated.
Big Deal’s Jake Kim vs Gun Park
As I mentioned above, after the four crews served their purpose, they became a liability for Charles Choi, so Gun Park decided to dismantle each crew.
Gun Park went for Big Deal Gang, they were involved in illegal activities, primarily an illegal betting ring. Jake Kim is not a weak character, he is also the son of the famous Gapyrong Kim.
He was able to beat Vasco and many other strong characters in Lookism.
However, Gun Park was able to defeat Jake Kim easily, and then Jerry tries to fight Gun Park but he is also defeated easily. Jake Kim was then arrested and imprisoned and Big Deal was crippled.
God Dog’s Johan vs Gun Park
Johan is one of the strongest second-generation fighters in the Lookism, while it was not revealed at the start he was actually doing it for the money so that he could pay for his mother’s hospital fees and surgery.
Johan was strong enough to defeat Jin Jang and in the God Dog Arc, Johan remained undefeated until Gun Park arrived.
Gun Park easily defeats Johan and makes him cry as he breaks Johan’s dream to save his mother.
Gun Park vs Daniel Park
Daniel Park in UI mode was considered to be the strongest character in the Lookism manhwa. However, the recent chapters have proved he isn’t, I will discuss that too, but let’s discuss this fight in the classroom between Gun Park and Daniel Park.
Daniel Park straight up declined Gun Park’s request to stop investigating James Lee, however, he was defeated easily. Daniel Park then underwent UI mode and they started fighting again.
Daniel Park was able to break Gun’s arm and knock him out in this fight, however, his UI mode didn’t last much longer. Daniel Park stole the title of being the strongest in this chapter.
The Hunt for Gun Arc
Fast forward to the Hunt for Gun Arc, this was by far the most insane arc of Lookism, literally, everyone was out to hunt for Gun Park.
He had the Red Paper that could ruin Charles Choi’s life. Even though, Gun Park was all alone in this fight against hundreds of fighters including the top members of the four dismantled crews.
At first, it was all about Charles Choi’s inheritance, but later when Gun Park got the red paper, he became the sole target of everyone.
Yeonwoo Kim had the red paper before Gun Park, Daniel Park then reveals to Reporter Kim that Eugene is now against Charles Choi.
Daniel asks for the red paper but she says, she will deliver the paper herself to Eugene as the paper is too dangerous for him.
On the other hand, Eugene was forming up a new team to take down Gun Park and Charles Choi, this team even included James Lee who was also one of the ten geniuses. A lot of fans believed James Lee will betray Eugene, but spoiler alert! He didn’t!
Reporter Kim was on her way to deliver the paper to Eugene but the Kojima brothers interrupted her, turns out they betrayed Eugene and were on Charles Choi’s payroll.
However, Eugene as always one step ahead, planned this thing all along, the paper reporter Kim had was a decoy, and the original paper was in Daniel Park’s hand.
If Eugene is one step ahead, Charles Choi is ten steps ahead, he predicted this as well and sent Gun Park to Daniel’s location.
Daniel Park Vs Gun Park Once More
Daniel Park tries to convince Gun Park, that he does not want to fight and that Gun Park should let him go. However, Gun Park is always ready to fight besides his loyalty to Charles Choi is unbreakable.
Workers vs Gun Park
Gun Park easily defeats Daniel Park and takes away the red paper. However, more and more shadow figures started appearing it was the worker crew and way too many of them. Even Jing Jang was part of this crew to take down Gun Park.
However, Gun Park easily defeated them all, more and more workers kept joining the fight and Gun Park kept on defeating each one of them.
After defeating the workers, some of the strongest second-generation fighters arrive at the scene including Samuel, Vasco, Zack Lee, Eli Jang, Jake Kim, and even the biker gang.
They are all easily defeated by Gun Park but then things get serious when Zack and Vasco start fighting with Gun Park with the intent to kill.
They do land some solid hits on Gun Park and damage him, but eventually, they get defeated. On the other hand, Mandeok arrives and manages to break Gun Park’s arm so that crew heads can finish the job.
Gun Park vs Crew Heads
Now with one arm, he has to deal with the crew leaders, including Jake Kim, Eli Jang, and Johan. They do show Gun Park a good fight, each one of them manages to hurt Gun Park and Johan even manages to knock Gun Park out for a while.
Out of all three, Johan managed to hurt Gun Park the most and he was defeated by his own recklessness in the end.
He then starts his journey again to deliver the red paper to Charles Choi. However, Goo Kim tries to convince him again to betray Charles Choi but he declines the offer.
Goo Kim vs Gun Park
After fighting with Johan, Gun Park could barely stand let alone fight an opponent who has strength equal to him.
They fight, meanwhile, James Lee arrives to kill Charles Choi but Daniel Park saves him and he starts fighting James Lee in UI mode.
Gun Park defeats Goo Kim using his UI mode but ends up with fatal wounds, but his UI mode wants more fights.
Daniel Ui vs Gun Ui
Daniel Ui decided Gun was a bigger threat than James Lee, he completely ignored James Lee and went straight for Gun Park.
This suggests what kind of monster Gun Park truly is in terms of strength. Daniel Park was no joke either in this fight. However, he lost this fight against wounded Gun Park too, showing how strong Gun Park truly is in Lookism.
James Lee vs Gun Park
Even though James Lee is first generation fighter and considered to be the strongest in Lookism, he does not fight like others, he only fights when it is necessary to, in this case, he just followed Eugene’s orders and waited for the Police to arrive and arrest Gun Park.
Even in his condition, Gun Park was ready to fight James Lee and because of Eugene’s plan, we didn’t get to see the fight between the strongest characters of Lookism.
However, Eugene does say this to Gun Park before leaving, we will most definitely fight someday.
Final Words
Gun Park managed to defeat pretty much everyone from the second generation, including Daniel Park’s UI mode. We all thought Daniel Park is unbeatable in UI mode but Gun Park proved us wrong.
While we didn’t get to see who is stronger, James Lee or Gun Park, I personally believe Gun Park is even stronger than James Lee.
However, now he is in jail so we won’t be seeing Gun Park anytime soon, another character is back to rule over Seoul. Kitae Kim and he is teaming up with Goo Kim.
